A huge challenge for BelAirCon was to design a system for the successful expanding Forum Media design house. Their new home in Mawdsley Street is a listed building and is owned by Bolton Metro. A number of restrictions had to be overcome if Air Conditioning was to be feasible option for the 30 staff housed on the top floor of this building.

Freezing in winter and sweltering in summer was the comment of one designer. Recognising the needs of his employees, John Cass, Managing Director said; For our business to develop and prosper, we needed to provide an environment for our designers, copy writers and journalists, which would be comfortable and therefore productive. We awarded the project to BelAirCon because of their in house design skills which were used to produce an internal climate control system that did not contravene the regulations governing listed building alterations.
